In the forties, Antonino " 'O Parrucchiano", who did not have any heirs, left the Trattoria to his young nephew, Giuseppe Manniello, the boy that lost his father at the tender age of 7 and since then grown up with his uncle. Giuseppe, to whom his uncle had taught all this secrets about cooking, improved the tiny Trattoria, enlarging and bringing it to a higher level and making it well-known though out the world.

World wide famous for having invented about a hundred years ago the popular dish of "Cannelloni", then called "Strascinati", the restaurant today, together with traditional dishes, offers new ones which exalt the aromas and the flavours of the Mediterranean and of the Gulf of the Naples. Now managed by Enzo Manniello, Giuseppe's son, who, with his simplicity and affable manners, greets his guests and takes them up the stairway leading from the historical XVIII century rooms of the "Trattoria" to the enchanted garden, where the scent of lemon and orange blossoms mingles with the fragrance of the flowers. Giuseppe Manniello Jr and his brother Mario, Enzo's sons, are already in their way in collecting this important heritage hunted down through four generations.
